Do you have a fancy palate, a craving for elegant cuisine, and a love for fine dining; but is the recession keeping you from blowing your bucks eating at some of Austin’s snazziest restaurants?
If so, participate in Austin Restaurant Week – eight days of three-course prefixed menus for $25 or $35 at more than 50 of Austin’s finest restaurants like 1886 Café & Bakery, the Driskill Hotel, Green Pastures, and Judges’ Hill.
In 2009 Austin Restaurant Week enters its second year supporting local restaurants and Austin nonprofit groups. This fall, 5 percent of profits will be donated to AIDS Services of Austin and the Sustainable Food Center.
Now you can eat good food, dine high, and give to charity for one prefixed price. The dates for the fall 2009 edition of Austin Restaurant Week are September 13-16 and September 20-23. The spring installment usually takes place in March, so check back early 2010 for exact dates.
