New Discovery: The Tiffwich

Why haven’t I tried one of these until now? I have lived in Austin and have been ordering Tiff’s Treats for five years, yet I feel like I just heard of the Tiffwich. Tiff’s cookies, especially the butterscotch chip, have gotten me through just about everything: finals, birthdays, break ups, and just a regular weekend. But what am I supposed to do with the Tiffwich? You can’t have it delivered because it will melt before reaching your doorstep. And they honestly aren’t that easy to eat. You try eating a glob of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies while you are crying, driving, or working on the computer. It will never happen because you need two hands and a smile on your face to really enjoy it. At least that’s how I looked when I ate one after lunch today.

The Glorious Ice Cream Sandwich

I love you, Tiffwich

It was divine and everything I have always dreamed about. Sweetness to the max. It’s like when I first fell in love with the IT’S-IT while living out in San Francisco for a summer. What is the IT’S-IT? It’s a scoop of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, or mint) squeezed between two old-fashioned oatmeal cookies and then dipped and smothered in dark chocolate, available in many corner stores and food marts west of the Rockies and in Northern California. Don’t even attempt to study the nutrition facts for this one because it will just upset you, and IT’S-ITs and Tiffwiches were created to do just the opposite.
