I’m Jennifer, a 23-year-old blogger, writer, and editor in Austin, Texas.

I write a lot of poetry, some of it has appeared in Farfelu Magazine and Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, and I am also working to enhance my skills in baking and bookmaking.

I started Bird Fly Good as a way to share my version of Austin with you, mostly the food, crafty, and exciting parts.

I’m also starting a small press to be known as Bird Fly Good. I plan to publish small journals of poetry in which the authors and/or subject matter have a connection to the great city of Austin. Issue 1 is in the works and will be promoted on another site in the coming months.
